The events of a Friday Night
Last night was fun. First, I went over to the Vogeler's house and visited with the kids for about an hour. We played Disney's Scene It and I kicked butt. It was a good time, and it was nice to see the kids. They were a huge part of my life and I really do miss being a big part in a child's life.
Then, I hung out with Steph. We went to Oberweiss in Lake Zurich and ate some ice cream. And John met us there, and then we went to his house and watched Office Space. I love that movie, I still laugh. Then, we left, or tried to. steph was driving and we got a little stuck in the driveway. It was funny, and then Johns sister is trying to get in the driveway, and then it was funnier. But we got it unstuck and we were on our way back to Cary. It was a bit of an adventure for the evening. It was a lot of fun. I don't want to leave Steph here when I go back to school. Too bad shes not going to school with me. But my schedule for next semester should allow for me to come home more often.
Now I'm waiting for it to be time to go thrift shopping with Alison, Lisa, and some of Lisa's friends. Should be a good afternoon. I hope we all have a good time.
