Scooters
Today in phys. ed was fun. Can you believe it, I'm actually because it's only this term, so really only 3 more classes I think. Anyway, scooters were the man thing today. Remember those? I usually got hurt, but they were a lot of fun. A group presented dodgeball first, which I really hated. Hate dodgeball. We also played soccer baseball, which I actually kind of like, because I could kick pretty far, except that we couldn't because it was in only half of the gym. So, didn't love that part. Anyway, then scooters. Some weird games with them. They are hard to move around on! I forgot that! Then the teacher took over instruction, and we played quittich(?). The Harry Potter sport, except we were on skooters instead of brooms. And of course, the keep thing didn't fly around, it was tossed. It was pretty fun though. Then we ditched the scooters, and played a weird "basket" ball game, but I was pretty good defense if I do say so. Well, I wasn't good and preventing, and I tried really hard! I was dodging like crazy(the "basket" moved...lol...person held a milk crate and moved the net for their team). Anyway, several people commented on my great effort. Hehe, it was fun. I love that class.
Then there was a book sale...man...I don't know how teacher's don't go broke. There was all this cool stuff. I got this awesome book on T.Rex's. It is a book with facts, but it has a model of a t. rex in it, and each page has model parts of different inside parts...really really cool. Then a cool book about earth and space, with all these really cool facts and stuff. And then "big book of questions and answers" which also has really neat facts, but a little more random. And that came with a search and find book(like wheres waldo, but lot's of stuff)...didn't really want that, but it's ok. It's not bad.
Anyway, I still have 2 assignments to finish for friday, both only half done. Then Jess, our don, is having a milk and cookie drop in thing later...weird, but oh well! I'll probably go get a cookie!
