Quick Update
So its been a while since I've posted. Pretty much life has consisted of work, family, awkward social interaction, and snacks.
Work is going pretty well. I'm getting a lot more involved with the Latin American accounts and I seem to be having a bigger impact amongst everyone i work with. people that have been there longer are now asking me for my opinion and my help, feels pretty good. I also get excited at the prospect of calling my clients and speaking spanish or portuguese. I dont know if that will ever get old. On another note, my brother is going to talk to the hiring manager of his San Diego office about a position as a Localization Analyst. Basically what the job entails is proofreading video game text and menus for relevance within the Spanish language. i would get to peruse these games, keep updated on gaming news and info and work on proofreading scripts from games and work through the games themselves to check the spanish. They want people with linguistic background and who love videogames, which i'm all about. also the whole language team is basically all gay (which really isn't that important at all, i guess its just a little added cool factor) This job is in San Diego and I know i just started this job, but if the pay is right, there is no way i can pass this up. keep your fingers crossed!
Family is good, things are up with the nunez clan. i've been loving spending time with my little nieces and my bros seems to appreciate it. I also am getting very very close with my parents, i have a feeling the talk will definitely be the first on the list after moving out.
I started hanging out with William again and we are attempting to be friends (his suggestion). not that i don't want to, i just am still really really attracted to him. It has happened before where i develop feelings for someone, they just want to be friends, and i can't deal being in social settings with them cuz i feel like shit. I am determined to make this work because he is a really good guy, he just needs to stop alluding to our attraction to one another and stuff we did when we were dating, AWKWARD.
