PS3 hooked up

Jan 14, 2007 09:21

Connected via HDMI and optical audio. The encoded DTS-masterHD/DD. Sounds and looks great! T2 not all that great, Ice Age 2 is nuts (but most animated movies are like that).

I need another optical cable to switch the xbxo 360/ps2, as I've run out of optical inputs on the EMO UL pre processor (3). I temporarily removed an optical input from the toshiba HD-DVD A1, so now it does all processing (which is good for HD-DVDs, but bad for DVDs as it doesn't do much bass management).

The connection process never ends, and I have about 8-12 inches of room to work with behind the TV, so it's difficult to get back there and plug stuff in.

When I get a projector I'm going to try to do something about all this wiring, funk! I'm looking at getting a Sanus audio stand (6 slots), although I need 7...I'll sit the mini PS2 and Wii on the same slot. Disconnecting and reconnecting audio equipment is one of the worst times I can imagine - and then ecstasy when it's all reconnected again a couple hours later.

// TODO: BUY OPTICAL CABLE, SWITCH XBOX 360/PS2 OPTICAL INTO RECEIVER, RECONNECT HD-DVD VIA OPTICAL
