1. Can you cook?
I don't starve, but I wouldn't go so far as to say I can cook. I do make a good vegetarian nasi (fried rice dish) though.
2. What was your dream growing up?
Being grown and not having to go to school anymore. I have more dreams now than I did then, I think.
3. What talent do you wish you had?
Honestly, I've never thought that much about it. Maybe coordination, so I'd be better at dancing. I tried to do swing dance last year but I had to see each routine a million times to be able to do it, and I'd still have forgotten it the next week.
4. Favorite place?
My kitchen. That part of the house sticks out a little and there's windows on two sides, and on one side we have flowers and a pond, and on the other a field. I love sitting there and watching the cats run around in the grass.
5. Favorite musical artist (of the moment)?
Sufjan Stevens! I also love random radio crap though.
6. The last book you read?
I was reading Edward P. Jones's All Aunt Hagar's Children, and I already spammed your friends page with comments on how amazing that was. Now I'm reading Amina Wadud's The Qu'ran and Women," which is a good 'n challenging read. Very well done though, really interesting from a historicist/ postco perspective, and I admire her. She didn't make herself popular rejecting the work of medieval clerics but it's really the only option.
7. What zodiac sign are you?
Cancer. Indecisive, contradictory, and emotional. Yay!
8. Any Tattoos and / or Piercings?
It always surprises people to see I have a tattoo. It was a bit of an impulse purchase, but I still love it.
9. Worst Habit?
Eating constantly when I'm bored. Even weird combinations, like salted peanuts and grapes, or licorice and potato chips.
11. What is your favorite sport?
Man, soccer totally kicks every other sport's ass. :)
12. Negative or Optimistic attitude?
By instinct mostly negative, which I try to balance out with acting optimistic.
13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with George W. Bush?
I could tell him my Iraqi friend is a big fan of his, which is odd but true.
14. Best thing to ever happen to you?
I dunno. Lots of good things have happened, so it'd be hard to pick one.
15. Tell me one weird fact about you:
I fall asleep in the bath and then it scares the bejeezus out of me when I wake up.
16. Do you have any pets?
I have a cat, Mellow. She's not much of a lap kitty, but she's awesome at being a little predator. I've also been taking care of my roommate's cat on the weekends. She's very scared and nervous, but has gotten more comfortable with me the last couple weeks. At first she just looked miserable and refused to eat when my roommate was gone, but now she at least eats and gives me accepting little looks.
17. Do you speak another language?
This IS another language.
18. What time & day is it where you are now?
Friday lunchtime, which is why I'm stuck at the front desk
19. Do you think clowns are cute (or funny?) or scary?
I watched It when I was eleven or so. i was a very sheltered and non-scary-movie-watching eleven-year-old, and I pretty much slept with the lights on for six months. I hated clowns even before then but after that my loathing for them knew no bounds.
20. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
For my neck and shoulders not to get so sore
21. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
Probably conscience.
22. What colour eyes do you have?
Greyish blue. I like wearing scarves and shirts that bring out either the blue or the grey.
23. Ever been arrested?
No! I've never even been fined.
24. Italian or Chinese?
I didn't like most American Chinese food so much, but I love the Chinese-Indonesian places here. What can I say? Everything's better in Europe. Except muffins and brownies.
25. If you won $10,000 dollars today, what would you do with it?:
I should pay off a bunch of school loans, but I might end up doing a bunch of other things too.
26. What is your favorite work of art (at the moment)?:
I'd have to really think about that....

28. Do you believe in ghosts?:
No.
29. Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
Read on the couch. I have the best couch. I think it loves me. But I also love it when people come over for dinner and I cook and we talk and then do the dishes together.
30. Do you swear a lot?
Well, I do but I try to restrain myself to swear words that aren't as offensive. So no deadly diseases and stuff.
31. Biggest pet peeve?
People who put their bags on the seat next to them on a crowded train or bus. It's a small thing but to me it's just the pinnacle of egoism.
