Not so long ago, in a galaxy not so far away...
In our own galaxy, to be more precise. :) Some of you have seen the pictures of the observatory of Rijeka. Some of you also know that we celebrated 10th anniversary last week. Well, for all of you, here is the picture. This is only a part of the building (an Italian fortress from the World War 2): this is the western part, and in the eastern part is the new planetarium. But it is this western part (observatory) that I want to show you, because I've found an old photo, from late 90s, showing the same thing. So, this is the picture as the fortress looks now:

Quite a difference, ha? :) It was renewed 1998-2001, and in 2001 the observatory of Rijeka was opened. :)
