So we tried to fly back with Zelda, but failed. They wouldn't let her on the plane as a carry-on because she was too big for her crate. That was on Tuesday. Today she was shipped out by Delta Cargo and arrived in Boston this afternoon. It was a little tight--they won't ship live animals if the temperatures are over 85 degrees, which today was predicted to be (though not Little Rock or Atlanta--stupid weird weather)--but she's here now.
She's been pretty good. She barked a little at our cat, Pixel, and stole his food. She still does this thing where she wolfs down her food because she's used to fighting her littermates for it. We shut her in the bathroom while we went out to but meat for tomorrow's bbq, and she whined and scratched at the door, but was otherwise fine. She had an "accident" on the carpet, but we sprayed with nature's miracle. Mostly, she's been good about doing her business outside.
She loves being underfoot and at your heels. I'm going to have to get used to that, as I've only ever had a cat before and he only does that when he really-really-like-omg-right-now needs to be fed.
