Teenage dream
Just had to miss out on free tickets for the boyband extravaganza happening today because noone is free to go with me :'( hahaha. Considering I didn't even think about going when I saw the advert :p But got me thinking that I was a really silly little boyband groupie when I was in my early teens, buying all the albums and "Lime" magazines since primary 6 and listening to the songs so often I did not even need the little booklet of lyrics to know them by heart. And how to me, this man who shall not be named because I will possibly die of shame if anybody knew was the epitome of heartthrob. Now, I am just, what was I thinking, really? Was it the centre parting that attracted my heart so? Haha. Clue: A1. Missing out on that "heartthrob" today. So close.
Haha, but amazingly I had girlfriends who were just like me. And that's a saving grace because who else will sing along with me, even much later in life when some admittedly cheesiness was supposed to be wiped out of our minds and replaced with more "grown up" music and useful knowledge. :) That said, I still love you westlife and blue. Always! And n sync's this i promise you will still be my wedding song. And I'm saying this really very unabashedly hahahaha you have permission to punch me.
This has been one frivolous blog post. :p In other news, looking up possible cities in the vicinity of switzerland that I can visit, and though I may not look or seem happy to go, my heart is fluttering with concealed excitement at seeing new places, having an adventure, and meeting new people! :) Hope electives go well first though.
