When: In a couple of weeks so Farnsworth has time to invent a WOOOOOONDEROUS MACHIIIINE that will allow Bender to fandom-jump. 8D
Why: Because Bender has a crush on Duo's Scythey-baby. >.>

The sound of a voice outside immediately put Duo on guard and he quickly closed up his canteen and slid into the cockpit of his Gundam, readying her for a quick takeoff should the voice turn out to belong to an enemy. Most of the repairs were done anyway, but he'd have to radio back to Quatre that there was an intruder; he and the Maganac Corps could deal with him easy. A second later, however, and he realized that he recognized that voice. Duo popped his head out of the cockpit and listened again.

Yep, that was definitely him. The boy grinned and shut the Deathscythe Hell down before climbing back out and going to meet the other robot by the hangar door. "Finally made it, huh?"

"I said I was born on a space colony," Duo corrected with a wink. "This isn't my place anyway; it belongs to a friend of mine."

It didn't take very long for him to realize that his birthplace wasn't exactly interesting the robot anymore, though, and Duo grinned, turning back to gaze upon the glory that was his Deathscythe Hell. "She's somethin', ain't she?" he asked proudly. "Bender, my friend, meet the Deathscythe Hell. The most badass Gundam on Earth or the Colonies." He wrapped an arm around Bender and began leading him over to the Gundam.

Well, wasn't Bender just adorable? Duo almost hated to break his little robot heart by telling him that the Deathscythe Hell didn't have the same kind of AI as he did, but before he was even able to open his mouth, the Gundam's hand turned over, much to the pilot's surprise, all on its own. Duo gaped at the Gundam and took a few steps back as she sat up and turned to Bender, one hand lifting to her cheek almost shyly, and the other held out towards Bender and his gift.

Duo just looked on in awe as Deathscythe Hell took the can and lifted it up to her glowing eyes, like she was reading it, and then handed it to him. The pilot quirked an uncertain grin and took it. As soon as it was out of her hand, the Gundam rested her chin on her hand and waved at Bender while Duo just stumbled backwards a bit until his legs hit a bench and he sat down hard, dropping the oil onto the bench next to him.

"Hey, Bender," he said with a bit of a shocked laugh, "I think she likes you."

The Gundam lifted her hands over where her mouth would have been and shook a little, looking remarkably as if she was giggling. Then, she brushed one of her hands over her head, like someone would brush a hand through their hair.

Duo just laughed and nodded. "Yeah, I really think so. She's never done anything like that before she saw you."

"Like that!" the boy said with a laugh that was half shock and half amusement at the fact that his Deathscythe was acting like a schoolgirl with a crush. "She's a robot, right? But the kind that needs someone to operate her to move. I have no idea what's goin' on right now."

Duo laughed again. He might have been worried about the effect this would have on Deathscythe Hell's performance in battle, but he trusted her more than anyone or anything. "Well," he said, "considering I dunno how she got like this, I don't see why not."

"Oh yeah!" Duo hopped up off of the bench and over to Deathscythe Hell. He stood a little awkwardly in front of her for a moment before she finally set her hand down and he climbed on with a wry grin. She lifted him up to her cockpit and he climbed in, rummaging around for a bit before hopping back down to the floor. He held out a smallish box to Bender with a cocky little smirk and opened it, revealing two metal thumbs, almost identical to Bender's fingers.

"I'm ready to put 'em on now, if you want."
