German is difficult *whine*
My friend Theresa phoned yesterday and invited me to go shopping with her in the centre of Landshut - she now counts as a friend XDDDD I didn't understand her as much as I'd hoped I would but I could get the gist of most of what she was saying. I think.
She called on the housephone and I nearly didn't pick up - thinking it was her dad/mum checking I was ok and then I'd have to speak German and oh god. But she said "abholen" and I had NO IDEA what that meant and I was trying to check that her dad was going to pick me up as mine was at work. Guess what "abholen" means? To pick up/to collect. I so stupid.
But the worst part was when I was trying to ask the poor girl if she was going to buy the Johnny Depp poster for her friend who's birthday it is soon and couldn't think of the words and ended up asking her if she was Johnny Depp. Luckily she understood what I was burbling about and came to my rescue XDDDDD
Then Dad and I went to see PotC3 in German. DDDDX I understood about a 1/4 of it, if that. Damn you Davy Jones and your bubbling. It was fun though XD
