I've been keeping up my blogger Down Under more current
I'll be posting here again once we leave Australia. I find it much easier to add pictures to my blogspot.com blog. I know I could just learn how to do it and I could post here.
Also ... I'm sending out links to the blog and many people don't know I blog here so this is still more private. Not sure if that makes sense.
Right now we are working on getting the eldest down here for his second visit. Hopefully it has to go better than his March visit. Read about his trials on the Oz blog.
Tomorrow is ANZAC Day. Australia's day to honor their vets especially to remember their first major battle in Gallipoli during World War I. We are going to a sunrise service at the War Memorial tomorrow.
Found a great new dl Sci Fi Guys. Interesting interviews and they harangue on the most interesting topics.
I've been doing a lot of reading. Love JR Ward's world and then there is Warriors of Poseidon plus I've been reading Sandy Curtis who is an Aussie writer.
Things are going well. Miss the States. On my blog I talk about some of the stuff that we miss here. From Manhattan style bagels, tortilla chips, to friends. We are getting our Winter break (July)vacation together.
On the good side I think I'll have a new camera by then. Yes.. I've whined long enough and dh is giving. We are not going to buy another digital SLR since I'm sure ours is at home and we can get something smaller that will go up to 10X optical. It passed our eldest test.
I've been trying to come into chat more. All a part of getting settled. I do have to say that the 14 hour time difference is harder than the 16 hour. Time zones what a concept. :)
