2. Two nominations, that's enough to make anyone happy :D AND the most nomiated actress in history, that just makes it even better. I really hope she wins at least one of them.

3. THAT song, it's so amazing, literally stopped me in my tracks the first time I heard it. It won't be too long before it's well up on my play count too :D Thank You!

2. I'm actually kind of hoping she'll win for Mamma Mia - because you KNOW she's gonna get up there and do a little shimmy. And maybe sing a little bit. XD Of course, it'd be great if she wins both, but I think the double nominations MIGHT cancel each other out.

3. I'm glad you downloaded it. I was SO obsessed with the song when I first heard it, I can't even describe how obsessed I was. AMAZINGNESS.

2. I REALLY hope she wins for Mamma Mia, because I just read a pretty insulting article about Mamma Mia being one of the worst films in history to receive a nomination. AS IF. And yeah, there may just be some singing and shimmying involved, just to drive the fans wild :D

2. Urgh. Everytime I read articles like that, I'm like, PISS OFF. It's a FUN movie. A gloriously fun movie. Is it the BEST movie Meryl's made, in terms of quality? Definitely not. Is it the Meryl movie I'd probably be happy to watch ANYTIME, anywhere? Pretty much. Fail. I want Meryl to win too, so she can shimmy like she did when she won at that British awards ceremony a few months ago. ;)

3. GOOD. Report back when it hits 100 plays. I'm almost there myself...

2. Pretty much summed up my thoughts about it too. You'd think they'd stop criticising a film that's been so successful.
And Meryl at the NMAs was total class. I still have a recording of that and it still makes me smile, just the way she seems so overwhelmed and happy to have won.

3. 100 plays, give me a week or so :D My highest so far is Super Trouper which just hit 170, talk about obsessive :)

2. They're never gonna stop criticising it or wondering why it was so successful. Sigh. Don't they get it - Meryl does! It makes people HAPPY. And that's more valuable than... well, a lot of movies these days!

Oh yes, the NMAs. I LOVED her acceptance speech. She was gorgeous in that, with the off-the-shoulder outfit as well. ♥

3. Ha, you'll probably beat me really soon then. ;) BTW, I LOVE Super Trouper. I honestly can't choose which of Meryl's solo songs I love most in MM. Probably TWTIA, but man. Super Trouper is epic too.
