1. I think my heart is breaking a little bit. I need to stop watching weepy dramas at 2am because it would not be nice not to be crying for half an hour straight at 3.30 in the morning.

I saw Madagascar 2 last weekend and quite enjoyed myself. Then again, anything with penguins (especially sneaky penguins) is right up my alley.

Fun will ensue!

Oh good, that's reassuring - the reviews haven't been bad, so I'm looking forward to it! Plus, anything to take my mind off weepy melodrama would be great right about now. ;)

Rest assured, there will be no crying.

ahhh, weepy drams.

Hello, Sound of Music and the gorgeousness of a young Christopher Plummer.

I can read smut and watch pretty porny sex scenes in movies without blushing, but then I get shy and embarrassed and feel as though I'm intruding when I see him and Julie Andrews dancing the Laendler. And the whole thing always makes me cry.

Random? Perhaps. But it seemed appropriate :-)

I like random! And hey, at least Sound of Music had LONELY GOATHERD and other things to brighten up proceedings. I couldn't breathe through the last hour of Bridges for want of oxygen. Fun times... or not!

Btw, I agree in every way about Christopher Plummer (very gorgeous, very hot) and Julie Andrews dancing the Laendler. Amazingly intimate for lack of full-on sex(y) scenes. Honestly - the old movies knew how to do all that stuff RIGHT.

But...but very gorgeous Julia pic already? Why change? xD

Oh I didn't mean necessarily a change from JULIA. But I was disgruntled that I had put considerably more effort into SOMEONE ELSE'S HEADER than my own. So I might see if I can make something more exciting. Although I will probably just be lazy-arsed and not bother. *ahem*

*sigh of relieve*
Good, because, well you know me... I'm so used to your Julia header by now.
And I didn't make my Julia myself...lol I asked a friend to make me one, because my creativity at that point went on a holiday I guess.

*listens to Ring Them Bells*dances* ;)

Bridges is insidious and evil. EVIL. And ZOMG Meryl is fabulous in it. The point you made about her accent sums up her amazing so well.

I prefer She-Devil to Death Becomes Her.

We may need to send you to Icons Anonymous. Remember, the first step is to admit you have a problem. ;-)

Not even talking about the Julia concert and all of the mind blowing it will inspire.

OMIGOD BRIDGES. I cannot get it out of my head/heart/whatever. Frak. Meryl really was just stunning in it - not just beautiful, which she always is, but... the way she LIVED that part. Gad. It makes me feel weepy just THINKING about it.

You prefer She-Devil?? Really!? I swear you might be the only person I've come across who does. Not that I'm judging, it's just that everyone usually mentions that movie with SO MUCH derision, and I honestly remember finding it HILARIOUS.

Icons Anonymous? There's nothing anonymous about it, I KNOW that I'm addicted to making icons. It's bad. But but. OMG. PRETTY.

OKAY.

Yeah. Death Becomes Her is good, but there's that underlying twistedness to She Devil that tickles me more. Plus, Ed Begley Jr > Bruce Willis, at least in that format.

Both of them are fab, though, because she's having fun, and if she's having fun, all is well.

1. You should definitely read the book too. I was WEEPING at the book...and never cry at books. :)

2. Hee. My kids are all about singing "I Like To Move It Move It!" I've taken to adopting it into classroom language ~ "well, be quiet so we can move it move it to lunch" etc. :)

1. I hunted for it in the bookstore but came up empty-handed, bah. I KNOW I used to have a copy and I'm pretty sure I read it years ago. Must see if I can track it down!

2. ARGH INSIDIOUS SONG. I now have it in my head again, thanks. ;)
