1. OMG I FELL ASLEEP. Like, for serious - I was happily on a Youtube loop yesterday (more on this later), and then I fell asleep. I think for almost 6-7 hours. How's that for UNUSUAL. This, however, means I'm posting/flisting from work and I still have comments to catch up on ( Read more... )

DUDE. I have major respect for you (and clearly no work ethic whatsoever, argh). You took your computer apart?! I'd be so scared to touch it myself, in case I... broke something, IDK. Go you for getting it to work!

Can I just say that this law firm sounds incredibly awesome? I find it amazing that the people they hire just cover the strangest things ever. How big is it, if it can support such special-interest portfolios and then bring in only five interns? Is it one of the firms that deals with theatre-related law? (It sure should, based on the other things it supports, LOL.) Because OMG how awesome would that be for you?? Do you know when you might hear back?

I would gladly gladly sit through an hour of a hilarious old dude talking up Mamma Mia and basically having fun during an interview. Sure beats other stilted, painful interviews I've had with far less gregarious and ridiculously stuffier old dudes. Ick.

(Laura called DURING the interview? They picked up the call when talking to you!? WTF!!)

Also yay for possibility of more interviews in future.

AHAHAHA YOU'RE STILL ONLINE/AWAKE. Go to bed if you have to get up! (Although you should also watch Allison and Ellen sumo wrestling. Because that would prove even more that they SHOULD be in a show together, OMG.)

p/s I know I made it, but icon LOVE. Julia is SUCH a dork in that moment. XD

LOL, I almost did break it. I took the battery out and couldn't get it back in! And then I yelled at it, and it worked. Sentient electronics?

WEIRD law firm. The NYC office has about 130 attorneys and it's got a similarly sized office in Chicago, a bigger one in Miami (where Laura works), and smaller ones in like 17 other cities. Offices that size usually take 25 or so interns - I don't know why this one is all minimalist and stuff. And I can't figure out if they do entertainment law - it's LISTED on their website and the department is ranked in like the top 25 nationally or something, but no one mentioned it at all. Maybe it's in the LA office or something? I should hear from them within a week or so!

(Laura called the recruitment coordinator while I was talking to one of the attorneys - I didn't find out until after, when the lady was all, "Soooo, coincidentally - or obviously not, as we both know - I heard from Laura just now!" And I was all, O_o *blush*. SIGH.)

YOUR FAULT that I will be short-tempered on the phone with crazy artists tomorrow morning! Rrrrr.

(LOL, I love your complimenting your own icon.)

I like that method of fixing broken things. WORK, DAMN YOU. And then it does! Somehow that never seems to happen for me, but who knows. I CAN KEEP TRYING.

(OMG I JUST NOTICED YOUR ICON, AHAHAHA GAIL. GOD THERE IS SO MUCH OLD-SCHOOL WEST WING LOVE ALL OF A SUDDEN. Now I just want to go back and watch it all again!)

Very cool law firm! Laura usually works in Miami - when she's not back at school? It still sounds cool though. Ranked top 25 nationally has got to be pretty awesome, no?

Crazy artists?! I've no idea why you'd be calling them early in the morning - I would imagine crazy artists would appreciate NOT being woken up, LOL.
