It closes on Broadway today - well, Sunday. It's the last performance after the show ended 12 years ago. So you won't be able to watch it in NYC anymore, although the show's now going on tour.

Not sure if that will happen, it opened in London a long time ago and that's when I first saw it. It's closed since, so unless it's revived, who knows if it'll be back in the West End.

You can probably google the current cast. If you've seen the movie, Tracie Thoms, who played Joanne, is currently playing the same role on Broadway.

I hope it does come back here. I need to see something I love in the west end and thats not a huge option cause I havent seen much. And Tracie Thoms was amazing :D I cant imagine anyone playing against her other than Idina but Im biased. But I cant picture anyone else in Idina's role either so maybe my precious dvd is the better option for me :D

The current Maureen is good - Eden Espinosa is an awesome singer. And has also played Elphaba on Broadway. You should probably try to watch Wicked or something, in the West End.

I really should but I'm too damn poor. An the fact that I'm not going to school till 2 weeks means I dont get paid for another 3. Damnit. Life fail.
