let there be light

1. Technically it isn't spamming if I'm posting on a new day for ME, right? IT'S A NEW DAY. Okay okay. I'm being spammy. Deal with it. ;)

2. I stole a meme from lanafromoz, because I felt like it. :D

# Number of journal entries: 207

# Number of people on your friends list: 85 mutual friends (though this is deceptive, since my sister has multiple accounts and I am my own friend, yay!), 37 communities.

# Person who introduced you to LJ: God, I don't remember. I've been on LJ since 2001 or so, more or less, and was on blogspot before that. Finally decided to move over because it seemed more conducive to fandom flailiness, and obviously I was right. ;)

# Still friends with this person: N/A

# How many people have you introduced to LJ: I don't think I've introduced anyone to it. Not successfully anyway. At best, my sister, but I'm sure she found it on her own too. Hmmm.

# List everyone on your friends list who you have met in person: Excluding my sister's multiple identities... absinthelisa, alexia88, brainbreaker, darklegacy416, irnbruise, jukebox_grad, llyfrgell, medland, meepette, mirime, noldoparma, pdt_bear, ropo, sepulchralice, tamoshan, vertical_chaos - largely because of my recent NY trip of epic flail and win. ;)

# Total LJers met: Well, I've met a ton of others. X-Philes whom I'm sadly no longer in touch with, and some other folk that popped up at the same stagedoors in NYC this past June. Couldn't put a number to it though. Plus, TONS of my sister's friends are on LJ.

# 5 people on LiveJournal that you have known the longest: Well, mirime, whom I've known her entire life because oops, she's my sister; ropo and krispyxf from my hardcore, fic-writing X-Phile days, almost ten years ago now (WHOA); and I know this takes me over the five-person limit, but it's a package deal: alexia88, lfae, nut_meggers, starhud5 - my classic film gals. :) We met... err, there's some disagreement here about WHEN exactly (I'm thinking 2000-2001?) on FF, flailed over classic films, Gene Kelly, Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant, and here we are, quite a few fandoms (and years!) later and still fast friends. :)

# Anyone on LJ you can't stand: Probably, but they're not on my flist, so :D

# Name one person on your friends list you would most like to meet: Awww, all of you. But weazel_luv, at some point, we're going to have to flail over Julia and Alice in person, y/y?

# Ever ban someone from commenting in your journal: Nope. So far, not TOO many crackpots amongst you. :D Any crackpots will be tossed out on their asses soooo faaast. I HAVE defriended, but not banned.

# Number of comments: Posted: 8,519 - Received: 9,058

# Biggest pet peeve about LJ: It's also the best thing about LJ - it brings out the CRAZIES, OMG. I like it when the crazies are like ME and just unerringly flaily. But when they're, like, TRULY crazy? That's just... terrifying.

# Do you feel close to most of the people on your friends list: Sure, to differing extents though. Obviously. But I love getting to know people through comment-spams and reading their entries... so, well, thanks for giving me the chance to get to know you guys better. :)

# How many journals on LiveJournal do you have: Only one active one. I have another one which I used from... 2001 until... errr, last year, I think, but I had to move because I was exceedingly DONE with real life and its fail and I wanted to flail - and write House!fic - with abandon. (Dude, my DAD was my friend on that LJ account.)

# Communities I currently own/maintain: None. Have never owned one. Cannot descend into this kind of insanity. I am flaily and obsessive of my own accord. Imagine if I had to watch out while other people were being flaily. I would be insufferable and dictatorial and demanding. Not that I'm not that, as is. OMIGOD. I totally forgot. Edited to say I DO co-maintain my_vicodin with jukebox_grad. DUDE I AM MADE OF FAIL FOR FORGETTING. It's our House/Cuddy picspam community. Which clearly I need to be updating at some point in this millennium...

3. My flail over Alice Ripley and Next To Normal continues to grow in leaps and bounds. I've been... stalking smokeline (to her knowledge, it's okay, I'm not crazy!), and just found it insanely adorable how Alice had a bubble-letters phase when she was signing people's playbills at the N2N stagedoor. Mwahaha. She's so dorky, I love it. Anyways. I made icons with a couple random Alice/Brian ones thrown in to complete the set. Woe betide the day that I decide to try making anicons of N2N...

4. Continuing my Idina love from a couple days back: I'm sure she's sung I Feel Everything live on other occasions, but I haven't stalked Youtube enough to know when. I did get caught on a little loop when I was linked to her performing Roxanne on 18 Jul 08 in Atlanta though... and OMFGIM. SHE ROCKED OUT. SHE TOTALLY SANG, LIKE, MY FAVOURITE SONG ON HER ALBUM. ASLDJASLDJASDSA. 1:50 FTW.

5. OMIGOD. SENDSPACE FINALLY ALLOWED ME TO UPLOAD KERRY'S LAST WICKED IN LONDON. FINALLY. AFTER WEEKS OF BEING FUCKING EVIL TO ME. CELEBRATIONS - THEY ARE CALLED FOR.

6. And I forgot to add. I watched Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog yesterday but could not FLAIL because I'd just posted. NOW I CAN. OMG OMG. NATHAN FILLION AND NEIL PATRICK HARRIS. ILTHEM. They were freakin' HILARIOUS. (Felicia Day, I'm afraid, not so much. Did not like her voice. Not that Nathan could really SING either, but he played his part SO well, LOL.) Now I have to go and finish watching Desperate Housewives just so I can get more Nathan.

7. I've been quite spammy enough today, no? I was going to upload audio examples of Sherie Rene Scott proving INCONTROVERTIBLY that she is the most kickass thing about the Little Mermaid as a musical, but that can wait for another day. ;)

8. Oh also. Went for a run - half an hour, well done me! - and then chicken rice dinner. The chicken rice is inordinately expensive (like, five times as much as you'd pay in a hawker centre or food court) but wtf, it was SO YUMMY. Plus the restaurant has now moved to the 38th floor of the hotel, so there's a GORGEOUS view of Singapore town from way up high. Nice. :D

alice in wonderland, oh look a good day, broadway, meme, iconage, lj - lanafromoz, n2n, brian d'arcy james, lj - smokeline, flist-love, randomness, idina menzel
