1. I woke up at 3pm and had cereal for lunch. I am so grown-up! :D

2. I've changed my layout! I wanted to, for a while, because the comments section on the old layout was bugging the hell out of me - grey on white, wtf?! How does this in any way facilitate comment-stalking?! But I was a lazy bum and never got around to doing anything until

OOH! New layout :) Pretty. ♥

XF2. I am so not pleased. On their official website, they have our premier date as 7/26. But for some reason, all the posters at the theatres say 8/1. Whyfore not consistent. I be not pleased. NOT HAPPY. :( If the new date is true, it means that I won't be able to check my flist for a week. A WEEK. While you guys break the interweb. I repeat. NOT HAPPY. :(

Oh dear. I suspect you'll have to go with what's on the posters? Sad - that means it opens the same time as a lot of other countries e.g., the UK. I THOUGHT Singapore was slated for 1 Aug as well, but all MY posters say July 24. So, YAY! I'm sorry. I will spoiler-cut my flail. :( 1 AUG WILL BE HERE SOON TOO. TWO WEEKS.

WOW. The 24th? Doesn't that mean you'd be getting it, like, a whole day and a half before the US? OMGOMGOMG. SO excited for you! Good thing is that AXN is now showing TXF repeats Tuesdays through Thursdays. (Are you getting them there, too?) At least I won't miss out on the pretty :( BUT, I missed Ice last week, probably my favourite episode in S1. *headdesk*

Yeah, I realise that's the one AWESOME thing about our movie release dates being on Thursday. New movies open in the US on Fridays. So if we get them, we get them a day early - the same way I hadn't realised I'd seen Dark Knight before it opened everywhere else! So yes, EARLY PREVIEW OF XF2. :D

I don't watch cable at all anymore - I only download my tv, so I have no idea whether they're showing repeats of XF right now. Ice is cracktastic and freakin' SEXY. Plus, baby!Felicity Huffman, OMG.

YOU. LUCKY >_<. We get them on Saturdays, mostly. Ack.

And I don't watch cable or regular TV anymore either, but my mom saw them promoting it and told me. However, she only told me TUESDAYS, which is why I missed Ice. *le sigh* I really should reacquaint myself with my TV, if only so I won't miss any more episodes ;)

(Change of subject, how's work been? Are you still super busy? I want to email you but I don't want to interrupt. :))

Whoever decided that Thursday was the start of the weekend in Singapore = GODLY.

Work SHOULD be super busy but I have no incentive to do very much of it anymore. Doesn't mean I still don't spend ages there, though. Plotting my escape to NYC, if at all humanly possible. :P

NYC. I was planning a trip with friends in October. Now it looks as if it might not happen. NARGH. I need a vacation. WHEN CAN I GETS A VACATION. Where do you stay when you go to NYC? Is there a hostel/hotel that you prefer? I'm thinking if I should head over by myself anyway. Because, work? The incentive left about 2 months ago. ;)

(AND ASDFGHJKL; you start your weekends on THURSDAYS? What am I still doing here? ASDFGHJKL;)

NYC in October would have been TONS of fun. I totes agree that you should go anyway. I've completely lost any motivation to work, so it's pretty terrible trying to convince myself to stay focused these days. Urm, if you're going by yourself, probably makes sense to just get a cheap hostel. Bed-space is all you need. With a few friends you can go a bit more upmarket and rent an apartment because it DOES make more economic sense the more of you there are.

And I meant weekend only in the sense that movies open on Thursday. But that's a good enough indicator that people feel, by about Thursday, that the weekend is nigh and can afford to go out and catch a movie, you know?

Mmm, true. I also want to go back to the UK, though. To see friends and stuff. Not sure if I can manage both places, though. BAH. Or maybe I should go in Jan, so we could meet up for a show or two? It's ridiculous that I haven't met you in person yet. :)

LOL, YES. I totally approve of that mentality. All that everyone thinks about on Fridays is when to clock out, anyway, LOL.

A show or two? Try a show or TWENTY. My plans for January are in flux right now because it looks rather as if I'm also plotting a trip in April/May. Because I cannot miss the opportunity to see Allison Janney SINGING, live. Sigh. I should just move to NYC.

Re moving to NYC: You and me both, BB. My friends, who I was plotting this trip with, says another possible date (if not October) would probably be next March/April. So, you know, if you're there then, too, then all the better. I'm just not sure if I'll be able to leave in March/April; that's like our death months. We'll be buried knee-deep in poop and trying not to drown---if I haven't quit by then, of course. *g*

At this point I'm only staying on in my job so I WILL have the funds for these retarded trips to NYC, like, every QUARTER. It's insanity.

March/April - fingers crossed it'll happen. Might stretch 'til May, really, because I'd have JUST been in January and it'd be nuts to go again. But the May one MUST happen because, OMFG ALLISON JANNEY. I say again... :P
