TVGuide.com: A couple of week ago, House and Cuddy were having one of their pissing matches and he threatened to replace her birth control pills with placebos. Does that mean Cuddy is no longer trying to have a baby?
Edelstein: I asked that question, too! But I didn't get an answer; I think they just liked the line. Somebody said that sometimes when women have a lot of miscarriages, they go on the pill to try to regulate their ovulation.
Okay, seriously, HOW MUCH DO I LOVE LE FOR SAYING THIS? I figured she, if anyone, would catch the fact that Cuddy shouldn't be on birth control if she's trying to conceive. And LE caught it! And she has such a plausible, heartbreaking reason for Cuddy being back on the pill too. Awww. *hugs Cuddy*I actually asked my aunt (who is a doctor) about this fact and she confirmed it. Some women go on the pill to regulate their body after a miscarriage, but I forgot to ask her for how long they have to be on it. =/ I can find out ( ... )
