ITA WITH BEING DISTRACTED BY CUDDY. Holy crap. During the entire Wilson/Cuddy scene all I could think about was how hot Cuddy looks in purple. TOTALLY HOT.
Ahem.
On the whole Brennan thing... I knew he was going to go either this ep or the next one just because it focused too much on him for him to stay. That's why I thought Cole was gonna leave soon, but I was wrong about him (thank goodness. We Mormons gotta stick together. :P). I was right about Brennan this time though! I'm glad they kinda gave him depth... but I wasn't too impressed with his character. I will admit, that last part was a GREAT TWIST! Dosing the patient to get the polio results. Wow. I definitely praise the writers on that part.
And I wanted more Col/13 interaction! :(
Love Chase. Love the Chase/Cam scene. Cam doesn't bug me nearly as much because she's not on the team anymore. And I agree with your assessment of Cam working in the ER trying to do everything to save the patient. I thought the same thing... but I guess she meant a different kind of high. One that gets your adrenaline pumping, your heart racing because you're going against this unknown disease instead of just trying to stop the bleeding from an ER patient or something. *shrugs* Whatever.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT EP. I can't wait to see the House/Cuddy scenes, especially while being filmed by the documentary crew. Oh yes.

I LOVE Cole! So far, one of the newbies I'm really really enjoying. I don't think we've seen enough of Kal Penn yet to really be grabbed by him, 13 bugs me a bit, CTB I alternate between hating and admiring. I used to like Plastic Surgeon Guy, and I'll reserve opinion on him. But Cole, I love. He's just so cute! More Big Love ftw!
I'm just hoping Cam didn't mean the thrill of working with House (ewww, no subtext intended there, please). It's probably the thrill of the unknown, being pitted against a mystery disease, whereas, as you insightfully point out, it's pretty obvious what she's stitching up in the ER.
NEXT EP WILL KILL ME. THERE WILL BE SO MANY CAPS MY COMPUTER AND ALL OUR BRAINS WILL EXPLODE. But it will be worth it! Worth it!!
