1. ONE WEEK TO GO, OMFG FLAIL.
2. FLAILS SOME MORE. This time next week I'll be on the plane to London! :D
3. Just got back from a lovely dinner at a cafe my friend set up - it's his second branch, and so he was too crazy busy tonight to talk much during the official opening. But we still got some excellent food out of his kitchen, mmmmm. His creamless mushroom soup (it's basically nothing but fresh mushrooms pureed into stunningness), tarragon blue cream cheese beef, and this AH-MAZING salmon, mushroom and light cream cheese pizza - except he put it all on pita bread rather than a normal solid pizza base. Nummy. :D I'd promised myself to eat properly and not crazily until I leave on my trip, but COME ON - how could I resist all this awesome?! Bah. ;)
4. Sex and the City tomorrow. Again, another movie spawned from a franchise which I'm basically clueless about. I watched the first episode of the series ages ago because everyone said I should and didn't particularly like it (though I've been told it improves thereafter), so never felt compelled to watch the whole thing. This means I'll be going into the cinema more or less fresh, just as I did with Indy. Hopefully I'll like it just as much and feel the BURNING NEED to go and watch all the previous tv episodes. ;)

- LOL OMG. I have listened to this story SO many times because she tells it in every concert, right before she performs that song about a hooker, Fancy. Actually WATCHING her tell it is even better. I LOVE the look on her face when she gets that special "wa-wa-wa" comedy sound effect at 2:15.
- "Sweet Jesus!" ROFL.
- If I weren't already obsessed with Julia *ahem*, she sealed the deal at 2:48. Girlfriend uses the word 'wherein' - accurately. SCORE. (Yes, I am a grammar nerd and proud of it too. There is nothing wrong with that!!)
- "If you all close your eyes, it usually helps." OMFGJM.
- Sadface that Julia did not sing. But hey. COCKTOBER!
