OMG. ILU, athenaraven. In more ways than I can say. I was supposed to work on fic, LOL, but have instead spent the last hour more than happily scanning through pics of Kristin and Idina and Julia and ♥ ILU. THANK YOU, AGAIN.

KRISTIN AND ALANIS! THAT IS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!! That was SO cool. I wasn't sure if this song would fit Alanis, and yes, it was different, but I LOVED this. GAAAAH. SO AWESOME.

God, I love "For Good". It's my most played track on iTunes, and for a very good reason. Sobbed my heart out when I saw it live, too, despite Helen Dallimore SUCKING (vocally) as Glinda.

LOL ISN'T IT RANDOM. WHEN I FOUND IT ON YOUTUBE, I WAS LIKE, WHAAAAAAAAAAAT. ALANIS?! But it works, doesn't it? SO funny. And you've seen Cheno singing For Good solo in her Boston Pops concert, Y/Y?!? BEST SOLO VERSION EVER. I would have loved for Idina to appear, sure, but the gorgeous notes Kristin lets loose with at the end when she doesn't have to sing harmony? BEAUTIFUL.

I adore For Good in a demented way. Like, ADORE. I can get all teary just listening to it on the soundtrack, OMG. And was Helen Dallimore dreadful? :( She + Idina = not so good? I got Dianne Pilkington, who was okay; I was too busy being blown away by Kerry Ellis.

Helen Dallimore was DREADFUL. I mean, the acting was okay, and she and Idina had good chemistry, but come ON. I would've done a better job at singing (haha, in fact, I love singing this song). Pretty much ANYONE would've done a better job of singing. She SUCKED. I have NO idea why she's even a musical artist to begin with! Thank God Idina was FANTASTIC, though.

And god, that solo version is fucking BEAUTIFUL. I heart her. ♥

Well, for anyone who comes after teh Cheno, there's only one way to go - doooooown. Obviously. Man, that sounds dire though. One of my friends really loved Helen, although of course Idina was still the main draw for her. Um... at least you got to see Idina? *wants to see Idina as Elphaba SO BAD*

I love singing this song too, OMG. I love singing every song on this album, and since I'm ridiculously UNtrained, I suspect it's one reason I got a sore throat and fell sick earlier this year. I blame it on Idina's high belt, LOL.

THAT LAST HIGH NOTE IN CHENO'S FOR GOOD KILLS ME EVERY TIME. ♥

Helen was her first Glinda - maybe that's why? IDK. Cheno is always Glinda in my heart, LOL.
SO JEALOUS ABOUT GETTING TO SEE IDIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINAAAAAAAAAAA ZOMG.

THIS IS ME, ANGRY.

LOL Even if Helen had been my first Glinda, I would've been quick to find another favorite.

But no, I'm being a bit unfair. Like I said, I actually enjoyed her Glinda - it was just her vocal performance I didn't like. Other than that, she was really, really good, and she was funny and cute, and again, she and Idina had great chemistry. And she didn't lessen my love for the musical in any way. And looking at YouTube clips, she sounds a lot better than she does on my recording, so... I dunno. Maybe she was having a HORRIBLE off day when I went. LOL Still don't think she has a pretty voice, but at least she's on key most of the time in the clips I've found. LOL

FOR YOUR FACE, YOUR VOICE, YOUR CLOTHING!

I am so bad at remembering this. Your first Glinda was who then? Opposite Idina, I presume?

My friend did tell me that Dianne borrowed a lot of her performance - not the vocal part - from Helen, and I thought she was quite an adorable Glinda. She was so LOL-tastic in parts, and had great chemistry with Kerry. But you have a recording?! Of much offkeyness by Helen, oh dear? ;)

But, OMG. BOOTLEG MADNESS. I'm so tempted to bootleg the performances I attend when I hit NYC next year. What did you use to grab audios and are they really clear?

LET'S JUST SAY/I LOATHE IT ALL!

Uh... well, I suppose Helen WAS my first Glinda. LOL I just don't view her as my first Glinda, seeing as how I'd been listening to Cheno so much AND watching performances with Cheno as Glinda.

LOL Yeah, I recorded the entire thing with my MD. The sound is okay, I guess, but not perfect in any way. I've gotten better recordings on other things. Still haven't bothered actually transferring it to the computer, though, mainly because I don't like Helen on it. LOL

You should ABSOLUTELY bootleg it. LOL Haha, I record pretty much everything I go to. LOL

It's sometimes hard to remember I DIDN'T see Wicked without Idina and Cheno, lol - to me, they're my first too, I guess. Though LIVE it was Dianne and Kerry. ;) I'm gonna have to do some research to find out what's the best recorder out there, and then I'll buy one just for bootlegs, lol. I should start testing it out here first, I'm going for a Sondra Lerche concert in a couple of weeks. ;)

I'm so Broadway dorky right now I'll be watching SO many things. It'll be completely insane if I bootlegged everything LOL. BUT MAYBE I SHOULD, ZOMG.
