Oh I definitely do not sleep enough. My evil plan is to fall ill from the stress of it all and stay home and flail instead. LOL I AM MADE OF SUCH MUCH FAIL.

And here we go:

1. Because I am made of LOSE and didn't friend you until I realised who you were from the Flicka boards - thanks to the Emmy pic-spam of epic win that you posted last year. THANK GOD FOR THAT, EH. HOW ELSE WOULD WE HAVE GROWN INTO THE FLAILY PEOPLE WE ARE NOW?!

2. BRUCE OBVIOUSLY. (BTW, I so listened to both his River CDs while I was skating, heh.)

3. YOU ARE MADE OF FLAIL (NOT FAIL) AND THEREFORE ILU. Seriously though - we share so many fandoms, we're totally pervy (hee), and it's been wonderful getting to know you better :)

4. Too many to list of happy flaily conversations as we messed around setting up my_vicodin and flailing and being generally spazzy, but I'd have to say the first and best memory is hanging out with you at your Flicka boards (shame they're down now), because she was the first and the original for both of us, before House and Cuddy stole our hearts away.

5. Dude. How did you START liking Bruce? (And please. No essays in reply, lol!)

6. Your icons are all pretty epic. For the moment, this one:

Because it always makes me giggle. House!eyebrow arch ftw!

7. Go forth...

1) Very happy the Emmy picspam reconnected us -- though I still think we would've figured it out eventually!

2) WOOT. BRUUUUUCE. They had a 60 Minutes mash-up thing on VH1 Classic last night that I watched. Reminded me that I really should get around to posting some tunes.

3/4) We were pretty matchy in our flailing on the Flicka message board, I do believe. But yes, now we're so very OMG about our H/C. Clearly we have some common gene when it comes to fandom. BTW, did you realize that I did manage to meet Felicity twice AND give her the scrapbook in person? And recall that you were in it! I didn't know if you knew that, and it's for the flail!

5) OKAY, NO ESSAY. Keep it short, Jenn. If I hadn't hurt my back when I was 14, I think I would've been listening to rap. But I did, and instead I really loved classic rock. When Bruce and the E Street Band went on their reunion tour in 1999, the local station here played the entire catalog, first A-Z the week they stopped here on the tour. I taped as much as I could. Then they did Z-A and I taped some more. I just loved the music. It was too late to get concert tickets, and I was annoyed my mom was going to one of the shows for work and couldn't get me a ticket (but a friend of ours went and apparently sat the entire time!). Major bummer. I didn't actually see him live until 2001 (with the whole band, 2003). He's love. :) (was that short??) EDIT: OH, and I should say -- I do remember having his Born in the USA record when I was very little, 4 or 5, and dancing around my room to it. My mom coached me, telling me he had a great tush.

6) In honor of you...
7) I'm on it!

1) I guess so, we had so many fandoms in common we'd have to have collided again. But man, we had alexia88 as a mutual friend for ages and never made the connection! FAIL!

2) POST ME SOME TUNES. *ahem*

3/4) OMG OMG OMG I WAS IN IT?! I don't even REMEMBER that. HOW was I in it? And, true story, but alexia88 were IM-ing the other day and you came up - something about flailage, lol. And she linked me to that post. But I'm gonna have to ask you to link it again so I can mem it. I failed and didn't last time!

5) That was SHORT ENOUGH. I am impressed. I love hearing these beginning-of-fandom stories. And I really AM loving his music. It's brilliant workout music (for the most part), and then there are the gorgeous, spare, angsty ones that are so beautiful too. LOVES!!!

6) LOL I LOVE HOUSE.

You were in it, yes, and you were great! There was an interesting array of submissions. I kind of sandwiched the more fangirly ones between some of the more eloquent ones (yours fell in THIS category, love!) to sort of balance things out. Start strong, end strong. There were two posts, the most recent one is the scrapbook one. And for me, it's so lovely to look at that one and realize just how much weight I've lost since I graduated, lol! Like, I call for a do-over now that I look a little better.

I am going to post this meme now so I don't forget. daynawashere did a couple fun ones recently that I just saw -- one being an icon one. Now that you're at 100+, you'll have to do that one soon! ;)

I remember now! I totally fail for forgetting OMG. What is UP with that. Think my old flaily entry was on my old computer though. No idea if I saved it in my hard drive for transfer to the new one. Ah well. At least Flicka got to see it. AND OMG THE FLAIL OF MEETING FLICKA. SO AWESOME SDLGJWOETJWOEFNSLKNDAL. Aww, I think you look great in both sets of shots! And I love putting a name to a face :)

LOL, NO GETTING ME MORE ADDICTED TO MEMES. This one was lots of fun but really tough to do - takes quite a while to sit down and THINK about what you want to say about everyone!!

If you WANT to see your letter, I do believe I still have it! It was so totally flaily, but she was so great. The second time, especially, things were so much more relaxed. There weren't as many people, and the way they were running the line was less... militia-like. And having more people there was awesome, because we just sort of stood off to the side and waited for "alone" time.

HEE. But memes are fun! ;)

Oh, and I totally just thought of you a little while ago. I got out of the shower and turned my TV on, and heard Bruce. Thought it might be the thing I mentioned I watched last night -- but it was actually the beginning of the Born in the USA video (I really do seem to have excellent Bruce radar). But what made me think of you was that the next video was a Dire Straits one! The whole Bruce/Knopfler thing made me smile!

Dude, I'd probably be completely horrified by the contents of my letter and its massive flailiness. *giggle* If you still have it, do mail it on though. Should be amusing!

ALONE TIME WITH FLICKA ALSKFJAEORHWOENFSLNFLASDDA. I WANT TO MOVE INTO YOUR BASEMENT SO WE CAN STALK TEH LISA TOGETHER.

And yay for thinking of me!! SO AWESOME. Because that Bruce/Mark thing is awesome - what a great coincidence - but also, OMG, I am SO addicted to Born To Run, so that was the perfect song to come on at that time. (I listen to it on lonely jogs, lol!, always makes me feel better about having to run...)

OMG. It's past 3am. I promised myself I'd sleep earlier. SO I'M GOING NOW. YES I AM. I'M GONE. (FOR REAL.)

LOL, I will send it your way!

I REMEMBER THERE WAS TALK ABOUT A HOUSE CONVENTION SOMETIME SOON? AND IF IT'S IN NEW JERSEY, THAT'S WINNINGEST. IF IT'S IN NEW YORK, I STILL THINK I SHALL MAKE IT A POINT TO ATTEND. IF THE CAST ACTUALLY GOT INVOLVED, OMG AND ASLJFDSKJDAS;L ETC.

Honestly, I still haven't figured out how to approach Born to Run for the perhaps over-hyped Bruce post. Because BTR and Thunder Road are musts. Jungleland and Backstreets are epic rock operas that must be heard. And then She's the One and Night are great songs, but then I'm basically posting the whole album! The only song that's a snore for me is Meeting Across the River. Just never did much for me.

Good, off to bed with you! I am waiting to see if I might actually work today (SHOCKER!) or if my client's going to call and cancel.

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT A HOUSE CONVENTION AND IF IT'S HAPPENING MAY I MOVE IN WITH YOU!? LOL, THAT WOULD BE SO KICKASS!! I FLAIL JUST AT THE THOUGHT OF IT.

Well, I already have Born To Run, so don't stress out TOO much about what you want to include from that album. Unless, of course, you're planning the PERFECT Bruce mix for any fan new or old, in which case ignore me because I totally wanna see what you come up with, heh.

I SHOULD BE SLEEPING. I AM GOING TO DIE AT WORK TOMORROW. :(

FOR YOU, I WENT TO THE LINK FOR UPDATED INFO, WHICH IS AWESOME, BECAUSE IT UPDATED ME, TOO. LOOKS LIKE THEY'RE SHOOTING FOR MAY '08 IN PRINCETON, NJ, WHICH IS AWESOME. I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH INVOLVEMENT THERE WOULD BE WITH THE CAST. AND YES, FEEL FREE TO MOVE INTO MY BASEMENT! IT'S FINISHED AND HAS A REALLY PRETTY TV.

EDIT: and also, http://www.houseconvention.com/ and then also this: http://www.houseconvention.com/housecall_update.html

I think it'll end up more elaborate than it needs to be. And with alternate versions of songs (like acoustic songs that were then made into full band arrangements that also need to be heard) with some comments.

GO TO SLEEP, BABE! STEP AWAY FROM THE FANGIRL MACHINE COMPUTER!

BRUCE ALTERNATE VERSIONS OF WIN. OKAY, IGNORE EVERYTHING I SAID. I WANTS IT. WANTS IT!!!!!!!!!

Like telling me to step away from this evil fangirl machine ever works, LOL!! I SHALL ENDEAVOUR TO SLEEP BY 2AM. (YET TELLING MYSELF THIS NEVER WORKS.)

UM, YES THERE WILL BE FLAILAGE. I can't imagine any reason I'd no go (assuming there's nothing more pressing that I can't get out of) when it's so close by. I imagine a lot of people will be trying to go and there's lots of potential to meet up with some H/C fans from LJ. And OMG, if I saw anything like THIS *points to icon*

You shall get it!

You know what's funny? When I got your first comment about needing to sleep, I checked the time and though, "Hm, it's actually really early for her!" LOL

YOU HAVE TO GO. HAVE TO GO. IF IT'S ANYTHING LIKE YOUR ICON I WILL DIE OF FLAIL. OMG OMG OMG.

And HEE. I KNOW it's earlier for me than usual, but I really DO imagine tomorrow being a complete BITCH of a day, so even though it's way earlier than my normal insane bedtime these days of 3-4am, I really SHOULD turn in earlier. Very soon now...
