I didn't ship anyone on House for the first season, maybe. Back then it was all about Hugh's amazing acting and the fantastic character for me. Then, somewhere in Season 2, House/Cuddy started to creep up on me, and then it HIT ME BETWEEN THE EYES and that was it. OTP for life. ;)
Yeah I pretty much loved them from the beginning but wasn't as obsessed as I am now with them. I agree I watch it more for Hugh and what he brought to the show. As the show went on I was like 'hello these two need to hook up like now!"
Oh yeah the question about Wicked from other post...from what I can remember I am pretty sure that I heard about Wicked on LJ. I saw a picture of Elphaba on alexia88 journal more than a year ago and was curious cos a) i love musicals and anything witches and b) i loved wizard of oz. I googled it and then was shocked that I had not heard of it and then could not wait to go see it. Except that I live in Australia and they totally don't have it playing here *cries* no matter I just had to wait a year before I was going to the USA. LOL.
House/Cuddy = insidious but totally undeniable OTP, hee.
My own Wicked story > I'd heard about Wicked when it was in the news for being the biggest musical for a long time to hit Broadway - then I read the Gregory Maguire book (which I personally didn't like that much; I'm kinda glad the musical took its own liberties with the plot and came up with something quite different!). And I LOVED musicals, so had wanted to see it for ages. Missed it in NYC in 2006, and COULDN'T miss it again in London. Saw it and was DEAD. SO. AWESOME. Are you going to see it in Melbourne when it opens there in July??
