Yes. Yes. I know. Today is 10-10-10.
Plenty of people have taken it upon themselves to mention it on Twitter and plenty of other avenues of expression.
So what? Big deal!
It's not like anyone has done anything awesome in accordance to today's date or binary meaning.
Or have they???
Jean Michel Jarre, son of
Maurice Jarre actually did!
This "techno-wiz" held a live-streaming concert from the UK. I only caught the last 18 minutes of it, but it was pretty stellar.
And not too many people can claim to have done something as awesome as that, I must say.
Boo-hoo for the rest of us "normies," I guess.
The number sequence 10-10-10 is a pretty awesome and one-of-a-kind date and time, although it is a pretty common sequence
in comparison to the number 10 six times in a row and is a pretty groundbreaking number in and of itself.
Well...as far as gymnastics and olympic records go, anyway:
Nadia Comăneci, the most awesomest person to ever inspire any ultra-feminine female to become an athlete, know's what's up!
At 14, she scored six unprecedented 10.00's during the 1976 Montreal Olympics, making her the first and youngest gymnast to ever do so at an Olympic event.
That makes her pretty awesome, in my book.
It also makes today's date even awesomer now that I've managed to somehow link a talented Frenchman and a talented Romanian in one post, as irrelevant as it is.
