Someone posted this on one of my facebook groups, as a recipe to celebrate Woolfenoot tomorrow, 11/23. I have not tried/tested this at all, so can't attest to its quality, but here it is nonetheless in case anyone finds it helpful. :D
1 cup grated almonds (optional)
1 ¼ cups flour
¼ cup confectioner’s sugar
¼ cup butter
1 egg yolk
- Combine almond, flour, and sugar
- Work in butter and yolk
- Set in fridge to chill
- Roll out and cut into moon shapes (or use a cookie cutter)
- Bake at 320 F (160 C) for 20 minutes
- Sprinkle with sugar or honey on top once cooled
