Tell me about your name!
As I try to decide what I want my new journal name to be (I have it narrowed down to three and can't decide which one I like best), I realized I don't know what most of my friends' user names mean, and now I'm curious.
If you feel comfortable sharing, I'd love to know how you came up with your name and why you chose it. I can't believe I've known some of you for over ten years and don't know a thing about your user name! For some people on LJ it's obvious (someone like "isildursbane" for example is obviously a LOTR fan...), but for most it's not as obvious.
(Along that line, for those of you that are recent, I know it's because I sought you out from gwendally's journal because I wanted new friends and more journals to read since so many of my friends had left; and even those who are still here, only two post anymore. But for you guys who I've known for years, remind me how we found each other! I guess I'm feeling nostalgic today.) 😉
