Originally uploaded by elliptic curve. The Big C in my Thai neighborhood has a regular booth set up to sell educational materials for children. Sometimes it was replaced by a table selling discounted makeup, or Thai delicacies.
Before I left, I bought a workbook about learning the Thai alphabet, where you get to trace along with the letters. The book is good for children ages 3 and up, so I guess I'm good.
I find the Thai alphabet incredibly beautiful. Here is what it looks like on the inside:
