Somehow yesterday was an interesting day at school.
We talked about language acquisition in my psych class, which I finally got to attend.
East Asian studies class rewarded my attendance with a guest speaker! He was a U.S. diplomat that had been stationed in many parts of Asia, and was there to answer our questions on Asia, and even U.S foreign policy. I liked him. He expressed strong opinions with care, and was good at making you feel respected in your differing opinion and making you like him. Which, I supposed are good skills in a diplomat.
I think I'm growing up, and people are starting to take the things I say more seriously, so I think it's perhaps time to learn to express myself without offending everyone. This guy might be a good model.
