Describe yourself in five sentences or less: I'm a full time academic who works most of the time and spends the rest of the time daydreaming about still being cool even though I never get out much anymore. I love my cat and my husband and most things mid-century. I'm introverted, private, and snarky but I've gradually been learning to chill out thanks to meditation and jogging. I'm passionate about my taste in music and lately it's been a lot of John K. Samson, Wovenhand, and Belle and Sebastian.
Top 5 fandoms: Harry Potter, Star Trek (TNG and DS9), Buffy, Discworld, and reading people's perzines. I mostly post about... Whatever is going on in my life at the moment. I love TNG - just watched the whole series with my husband, who'd never seen it before - and we're going to start in on DS9 in the spring. I used to have a foot in academia (Reference Librarian) but took it out in order to go full-time in the public sector. Wanna try being fwends?
Fellow academic and fan of DS9, TNG, and Discworld (so much so that a student loaned me their copy of Raising Steam so I can read it over winter break). Mind if I add you?
