it's all perspective
Once I was driving back to Sioux Falls (population approx. 175K) after a visit in North Dakota. I was tired and hungry, so I stopped in a little reservation town about halfway between Soof and Fargo to grab some Taco Bell. The girl behind the counter recognized I wasn't a local, and when I told her I was headed home to Sioux Falls she said, "Oh, WOW. I've always wanted to go there...maybe someday I'll move there." She had this wistful look in her eye, like we were talking about Hollywood or NYC. It was kind of surreal. I had to struggle not to feel sorry for her.
