Anyone else think the "thing that's more precious than Faiz's belt is perhaps a pair of red and yellow underpants? Cuz every time Kaitou asked, I wanted to shout, "PANTSU!"
That said, this show is pulling a Kiva, I think. Introducing new characters lickety-split and forgetting about the old ones. Yuusuke's relegated to bits of plot exposition. And why was he concerned about Kaitou? The guy just knocked him unconscious and now we're all, "Oh, he's not coming with us?" Come on, writers.
As far as little Diend goes, now that I'm past his amazing TEALness, so far he has promise. I mean, he's more interesting than Tsukasa. He's got a sort of human-form Ryuutarous vibe about him. We'll see if he turns lame or not
Well, it wasn't like I didn't expect to see Aiba in a dress. It's sentai, and every sentai I have seen has had at least one gratuitous cross-dressing episode. Might as well get it out of the way quickly. Let's just hope it doesn't get repeated too often like some sentai I could mention. And Ryuunosuke has that Kabuki excuse... and is Aiba.
The Shinken entrance sequence was my fave part of this episode, though. That was the bitchiest entrance ever. And I <3 Chiaki.
Also the new villain is apparently Skeletor.
And in the continuing tradition of sentai plot lines, we're following this with EVIL BLUE! *pump fist* Don't let me down, Aiba-chan. I worry about the amount of feature episodes he seems to be getting though... we'll see.
