You know, if I wrote Decade (which I could have. Come on Toei, hire me!, I'd be really pissed off about now. The writing on this is really pretty damn good. If I were just reading the script, I'd think it was a fun project, and I'd support it. These jokes could be funny, and if the direction were a bit lighter, maybe absorb a bit more from the shows it's supposed to be honoring, it could be a wacky little world trip. The actors, however, aren't delivering, and the directors are allowing a lot of odd expressions that I don't think were the intent of the piece. Even Blade-kun isn't as believable this episode.
At this point, though, why don't we just let Yuusuke run the show? He's doing all the work, anyway, while Tsukasa steals the credit. Commander Taggert syndrome only without an actual Commander Taggert. If you're going to be in Kamen Rider, you really have to throw yourself into the parts, and only Yuusuke's doing that, but he just gets stuck doing the grunt work.
Also that wasn't Todoroki, and that's upsetting.
Faiz, next? Can I bring myself to open my eyes?
In other news, I did zero actual work today and have at least 3 more days of zero coming. So instead I wrote 4 drabbles responding to the
toku100 prompts. I've been working on original stuff too, lately. Just felt like writing, even if it was silly little Dekadrabbles. I may post them f-locked until the comm gets to its prompt rehash round. Then we'll see if I still like them enough to share.
Right now I'm eating my delicious Takenoko Miso soup I made yesterday with free takenoko gifted to me by a lady who owns a restaurant I patronize regularly. I didn't even know what takenoko was before, but the soup turned out really good. mmmmm
