Well I have finally managed to join my local gym.
A couple of weeks ago a colleague found out that Chesterton Sport Centre now have a corporate scheme. A very competative one with unlimited use of the gym, swimming pool, fitness classes and free sports hall hire. Unfortunately our work is at gym saturation point as we have 50 membes at the shiney gym close to work and probably another 30-40 at the virtually free university gym just behind our building. This said it only took 2 weeks to find 5 members for Chesterton however since then it has taken a week and a half to actually get to use it.
Which is crap. When I decide to do something I want to get started as soon as possible. Not piss around waiting for sombody to send round and e-mail acknowledging our corporate membership and then have to wait another week to get an induction I could actually attend which lasted 5 minutes. Well at least I can actually use the pool now.
