as it stands now, i'll only be working about six hours per week at the shop, which really isn't worth much save the amount of coffee i drink and the amount of friends and connections i've established there. hopefully i'll get my tuesday back, but until then i'll have to refrain from spending more than like 5$ every couple of weeks so shit don't fly and i don't have to sell everything i own.
to alleviate the situation i might try to get a job at campus safety and work like one or two nights a week. hopefully they're hiring. hopefully that'll buy me some granola every week or two.

to add to this, our landlord plans to kick us out two weeks before finals and graduation. not sure how that's going to work, but if someone around here knows a good place to squat, there are going to be at least three of us graduating seniors left homeless come the end of april.

with all that said, life has generally been good. i just came back from a lucky quick visit to the hawaiian islands. my dad does work down there every so often for a scenic byways commission, so my mom and i accompanied him on a few sweet road trips and delicious local dinners. i spent a day laying on waikiki beach and the rest of the time hopping around various islands lookin' at volcanoes n shit. hawaii is an amazing place to experience, particularly when you like when it's 75 degrees every day. it'd be great if it weren't on the other side of the world, and it didn't cost seven million dollars to go there under normal circumstances.

pictures will follow in due time for those interested.
