Still fighting the good fight
It's been an interesting month. October is flying by at an incredibly fast pace, and I'm doing my best to keep up despite the drama that is vehicles and stayin with my parents (oh, smart smart Elliott). Currently, all three Fukui vehicles are in and out of commission for varying lengths of time. Hank is considering getting a Kia, which is hilarious. I would love to see Hank in a Kia.
I'm working 40 hours a week split between Booksmart and the Smitten Kitten, and taking 12 credit hours at MCTC. All in all, things seem to be going alright. Never have enough time in the day, but no one really does. Hoping to get my own place December or January, and take a trip down to NM to see some old friends and maybe make some new ones, too.
I'm satisfied with what is. I mean, Ideally I'd be in Atlanta or Cali, maybe NYC. But I can do that in a few months. Ideally, I wouldn't have to deal with Stupid racist homophobic and generally insensitive to ANY sort of issue that is not a white male issue professors... That'd better fuckin change in a few months or I'm giving up on the world of acadamia and moving somewhere warm and selling frou frou gifts to tourists.
I miss Jay already. I miss Gi'Nai alot. I generally just miss sitting with some folk chain smokin and shooting pool or cans or the shit. Life's just not the same without you.
