Vacation blogging: Santa Monica, day 2
Pain in my ear seems to be better. Pain in my scalp seems to be dermatitis. I had it under control for years back east, but the heat and dryness of Vegas brought it back. argh. Annoying, but nonfatal. More proof I'm not a desert creature.
Personal Jacuzzi on our own private balcony overlooking the ocean. Very nice, even if defective circuit breaker keeps making the light fail. Hotel was very apologetic, gave us free breakfast.
I tend to gain weight on vacations. Partly due to eating restaurant food and buffet breakfasts. Partly due to the fact that I overeat when stressed, and yes vacations are stressful to me.
