I'm a happy panda.

Well, let's see. From the looks of it it doesn't seem like I'm going to London in March. Now I have to wait until August to see if I get in to the program then. I'm pretty disappointed. I've been wanting to go for so long!!! But I am young. There is still time. Keep your fingers crossed for August.

There's nothing better to ease the pain of staying than dating a tall, cute and ridiculously hilarious boy. So maybe I have used ASUW as a dating service... SO!?! It was coincidence anyway. I met him at my first ASUW orientation. 4 years ago I would never have anticipated this to happen AT ALL. We were only acquaintances. We'd run into each other often, but never have a serious conversation. I ran into him while out a few months ago. We went out once in December. It was one of the best dates I'd been on but I told him straight up I wasn't looking for a relationship. Neither was he. We went out for the second time in January. This was probably the second best date I've ever been on. By the third date I was definitely hooked.

He makes me laugh more than anyone I've ever met. He's goofy yet has this boyish charm and a sensitive side I wouldn't have guessed existed. When I'm with him it's like perma smile all the time. I know that I feel differently about him than all those other boys I dated. All of the emotions I thought I'd lost the ability to feel returned. And yet, the timing couldn't be worse. However, we're just dating... it's not serious yet... but I know that I really, really like him. I haven't liked anyone this much (or this quickly) since my last serious relationship. However, it's weird not approaching this relationship like I have in the past. Usually I jump right into things and want to be serious right away. This time I'm adamant about maintaining my independence as well as approaching the relationship with caution. I don't want to get ahead of myself. But I'm afraid I might already have. At any rate, we'll see. If any thing I'll come out of this relationship with a friend that makes me laugh until my sides hurt.

love
