Merry Christmas to ME!!!
I am typing this entry on my brand spankin' new notebook computer. Sean, being the overly generous soul that he is, decided I needed a new one since my old Dell was a POS after my using it for so many years. This current notebook is AMAZING. By far the best thing is the 17" wide screen. Hotcha!!! I've never owned a Gateway, but from what I have heard they are along the same lines quality wise as a Dell. And to sweeten the deal, Sean installed a wireless router so I can use this puppy anywhere in the house. I must have done something truly spectacularly good in a past life to deserve this man. Thank you Karma Police :) While we were out getting some accessories for this computer today, I made the suggestion of stopping by the local PetSmart to see if they had any kitties up for adoption. Tomorrow we are going to be going back to pick up this sweet little 4 month old Tortie named Abby. I think I am going to change her name to LuLu as there is something about naming a new cat after the vet (Abbywood Clinic) that Hunny went to just before she had to be put to sleep. It should be intersting to see what she is like after a full nights rest, as when we first met her she was sleepy from being at the adoption center all day. We could have a real spitfire on our hands, but torties are known for being a bit insane in the membrane :) We aren't sure how the other two critters in the house are going to respond, but we think all will work out well in the end. Sabrina will have a new playmate and hopefully Brown Dog will have one as well if the kitty developes a liking for him.
