That was very interesting.
I like how each of these could stand alone, but it all works so well together as one piece.
I love Cuddy intro-spectives.
Thanks.
cheers.

Yes! A Cuddy fic! And an excellent one to boot!

She tried to pretend that the blurring of Rigel before her eyes was a trick of the clouds and its fluctuating light, but she knows neither man in her thoughts would buy that excuse, which only seemed to make it blur more.

This was probably my favorite line. I love the little snippets of Cuddy's past, especially with her family. The little bit of House/Cuddy was a nice touch, especially the club scene. ;) And the last drabble was perfect. That summed Cuddy up in a neat little bow.

Wonderful.

I'm glad you enjoyed them! It was a lot of fun fleshing out a bit of Cuddy's backstory from what little we know of her. Thanks for reading.

I love backstory fics, and I love this one :)

The one where Cuddy’s grandfather died was heartbreakingly beautiful, and the last drabble was very poignant. And yay for Surgeon Cuddy, even though it’s House beneath her scalpel. I really hope her speciality is revealed one day.

Cheers, Jérémie

These were great - Cuddy's relationship with her grandfather was beautifully, built, and this line: Two weeks after becoming Dean, she received a note in her grandfather’s shaky script, congratulating her on a position at the same school where Einstein taught. - was so real, a bucketload of meaning expressed in a few words.

See, I'm not articulating very well, but I liked this very much :-)
