She tried to pretend that the blurring of Rigel before her eyes was a trick of the clouds and its fluctuating light, but she knows neither man in her thoughts would buy that excuse, which only seemed to make it blur more.
This was probably my favorite line. I love the little snippets of Cuddy's past, especially with her family. The little bit of House/Cuddy was a nice touch, especially the club scene. ;) And the last drabble was perfect. That summed Cuddy up in a neat little bow.

The one where Cuddy’s grandfather died was heartbreakingly beautiful, and the last drabble was very poignant. And yay for Surgeon Cuddy, even though it’s House beneath her scalpel. I really hope her speciality is revealed one day.
