So I have finally succumbed to the evil peer pressure and created a minimal profile over on Facebook.*sighs* Aside from keeping up with a friend teaching ESL in Korea I'll probably neglect it as much as I do my LJ.;)
But if you know my alter ego you are more than welcome to friend me. Just don't take it personally if I'm slow to respond to things there. Email is still the best way to get my attention on the interweb.LOL
For those who want to know, Christmas was busy. I took on extra hours and have come to the conclusion that male shoppers are preferred during the holidays. Yes, even at the make-up counters. They may be clueless but they are appreciative and patient. One was so sweet that the gesture of Christmas cheer he made to me brought me to tears.(yeah, go ahead and say awww..you know you want to.;P )
Listen up ladies, I know things get stressful but unless they're rude to you give the poor sales people a break, they work harder than you know and still have to try and be jolly.*climbs off soapbox*
Got sick the day after the New Year, and not from a hangover(still keeping my record on that one, not once in my life! Ha!) But picked up a horrible stomach bug from previously mentioned friend in Korea, she was visiting for Christmas, and then got kicked while I was down with some upper respiratory thing. That I still have! I tell ya, I should be healthy as the proverbial horse for the rest of the year after this mess.*sulks*
Saw the new Holmes movie(twice) and enjoyed it very much. Daybreakers was only so-so. Avatar was good but longer than I would have liked. Still looking forward to Legion, Percy Jackson.., Clash of the Titans and a few others I can't think of at the mo'.
Having another festive gathering at my house tomorrow. Had one in November that went well. Crossing my fingers this shindig goes as well as that one did.
