(no subject)
So, further proof that my creepy-old-man boss who is losing his mind really is losing his mind:
Yesterday my friend Cory is on register, ringing up a customer (a girl probably close to my age). The creepy-old-man boss comes along to bag up her groceries and make creepy-flirtatious-old-man conversation. But this is where it gets good. He says to her, "don't take this the wrong way, but you kind of look like Patrick Swayze."
Patrick Swayze??? WTF, right? But he's totally serious. The girl, now rather confused and uncomfortable says something like, "um, wow, I've never heard that before...". And Cory, who has no idea what to do, just kind of shrugs and goes back to bagging groceries.
Alas, I was not fortunate enough to witness this encounter first-hand. But later Cory came over and told me about it. He said, "Worst pick-up line ever. You know you've really lost your game when you tell a girl she looks like Patrick Swayze!!"
Anyways, I just had to share that. It was way too funny.
I spent another morning sleeping in really late, but I'm feeling a lot better. Yesterday I pretty much consumed nothing but soup, bread, and juice. I had some of the amazing grapefruit juice from the co-op, then when I got to work I got a quart of orange juice and proceeded to drink pretty much the whole thing. But obviously the vitamin C is helping.
All right. Gotta get ready for work :(
