Pants!

Jan 24, 2010 17:35

Today I am enjoying wearing pants that are not ill fitting and are very much in the position of threatening a Paula Deen moment. It would be hilarious, I'm sure, but I'm not ready for folks to see my underwear (because I wear underwear, I guess Paula doen't?)

So I went out with my sister today and we did some clothes shopping at Old Navy and Lane Bryant. I got a couple of really cute tops and some brand new jeans. I'm happy to report that I've gone from a tight fitting size 7 (old LB size 24) to a comfortable (loose, even) size 3 (old LB size 16). This would be my smallest size since high school (I think in college I went down from 20 to 18, but that was loooong ago). I'm not complaining.

Right now, baking a potato that I'll top with a Grean Giant just for one brocolli and cheese, a li'l bacon and sour cream, and call that a meal. Very low cal and delicious and practically vegetarian. Aside from the bacon. ;)

Loopy Ewe sweater dilema is over! My final decision is going to be to knit this sweater with this yarn. I'm fairly excited due to the purple factor, the sparkle factor, and the possibility of wearing it during the spring time (being smaller and potentially light).

In the meantime, my new Ruffles scarf which is very blue and all just for me is nearing completion. At least, I'm up to the 600 stitches part. ARGH. In any case, hopeing to wrap this up by Thursday, since weather looks like it'll be all cold and miserable just for me by the weekend!

Well, knitting to do, Akio arc to watch. You know how it is!
