Friday I walked doggies at BARC. The first one curled up on my lap when we went to the park, and I want him. The second one was fond of laying down, and we didn't go far...but we did run right in to the Spiderman 3 set. Awesome and the second time I have seen them shooting.
Then I meandered to Timmy's house for some drunken Shakespeare. The group read A Midsummer Night's Dream (a personal favourite) and got drunnk. I read for Bottom the Weaver and had much fun. Then spent awhile waiting for J on the 14th street platform-- which was fine except I was apparently falling out of my dress, and there was a scary crazy man who kept banging his head on the metal poles.
Saturday was devoted to swinging in Central Park and food shopping at Zabars. A very fast dinner at Ollies and a 7 train ride wherein we did shots of Coke (yup, plain coke) every time someone said something stupid brought us to the Mets game. And since I was there, they lost.
Sunday was about cooking, the extreme heat, Chinese pasteries, and the lovliest cold shower in the world.
I am getting slightly more busy at work, thank goodness. But after work on Monday, I went to Zabars for bread and cheese and then took myself to bryant park movie night with Alex and co. I was only there for the picnic, but it was good fun with wine and cheese and Taco Bell. Which I had not had in AGES but suddenly was craving. Oh and Alex made his famous homemade cheesecake with a strawberry topping. So in theory I should have been done for the night, but instead I went with Kara to a benefit for a theatre group. Paid $25 and got an open bar. We should have started and just stuck to Sex on the Beaches, but it was a way fun night. Even though I was embarassing at stupid celebrity trivia. Whatever, I got to drunk dial and then we got Wendys. :)
Today at work I did walkthroughs for apartments that I want. Well, we are subletting them for the month of July, but I want them for life. Seriously, great neighborhoods and BIG and with this fancy machine that is BOTH a washer and dryer, fits under a counter in the kitchen and drains into the sink! How awesome is that? I'd save so much money on laundry since we don't pay for our water.
Just watched the episode of Sex in the City (shut up, I didn't watch it the first time and they come on HBO on Demand) where Berger breaks up with Carrie with a post it. Hello to one of my worst nightmares. Relationship hits bump, seems to get fixed, and then boy bolts with stupid post it left behind. Gross. But right before that, Harry proposed to Charlotte and I squeed and bounced on the couch. Thank god Deena is at the Mets game.
and my least favourite commercial just came on. I had to be fast to mute it. It is a guy who had throat cancer and talks through a machine thing. I just can't handle the sound.
