A big 'fuck you' from the system
Anyone else raging at the foster care system in this country? Because it really sucks.
Without going into crazy detail.i''ll just say that I'm pissed at the way things are run, I'm pissed at the crazy people who are allowed to be social workers, and as someone who's family takes in foster kids, i'm pissed at the fact that you can be told that a child will be yours and up for adoption, you can take care of that child, stay at hospitals for weeks at a time when they're in surgery, but the second a family member who's known about them since birth steps up and is ready to take them (unless the medical stuff is too hard- bitches), they get them.
The system is flawed. The workers are flawed. I am drunk and very, very angry.
