Hi everyone,
I used to have an account here under the name rebeccas_world but I deleted that one and I am just gonna post on old entry here because I don't want to loose it! here we go ....
...Ok so I know I haven't posted in forever, so I am going to put all the major points up in on big post.
Christmas Break was so much fun! I love Christmas time. My favorite time of year starts on Thanksgiving and ends New Years Day. Anyways I got loads of great presents. I got a new copy of To Kill a Mockingbird, among many other books. I also received some of my favorite movies, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, and Indiana Jones 1 and 3. I also got Pushing Daisies Season 1. My friends all had an awesome time over break as well which is great. One of my best guy friends, Ryan (his nickname is Monkey), got stuffed monkey dolls from all of us as a joke! :)
Ryan is going to Russia as a foreign exchange student next year! We are so gonna miss him back here at school.
On January 15 and 16 we had snow days from school! But then we had to come back for Exam Week! :P
I was able to pass all of my exams, though, so that was a good thing.
The Second Semester has started (actually the third quarter is almost over now).
January 27 was Student Appreciation day during Catholic Schools week and we had so school work in class and had no homework that day OR Friday.
On February 13 we had a 4 day weekend and my friends and I hung out together enjoying the days off!
On February 21 Mr. Gil and Connie got married. Mr. Gil is my best friend Myvonne's dad. I was invited over to their place for three days! I went home from school with them on Friday and then we hung out that night. We also went to the rehearsal dinner that night and it was fun. After we had practiced what would happen we went out to eat at this really nice resturant called Clairs. But before we even went to the rehearsal I was able to meet Mivy's grandparents! They are so cool and fun to be with. They live in Puerto Rico ( the whole family, minus Connie and her kids, are Spanish from Puerto Rico). I also got to meet Robbie and his wife. He was so funny, always joking and talking to use. I can't wait to see them again. Anyways the next day we went back to the hotel resort where the wedding was going to be ( there was a main building, where the wedding was, and then there were other building with a huge living space and then hallways with rooms). Mivy and I had a room and Daniel (Connie's oldest daughter) and her boyfriend Derek had a room, and then Molly and her friends had a room. Anyways we went to the main building and went upstairs to change. Connie had a beautiful wedding dress. She looked fantastic. Mivy, Daniel, and Molly were the brides maids and I was the unofficial photographer! (they had a professional there but I had Mivy's camera and took the candids) then we all came down and got ready for the procession to start. Connie walked down the isle to Canon in D instead of the Wedding march. It was beautiful. She and Mr. Gil looked so happy that day. After the wedding there was the reception in the same building. Mivy and I had loads of fun talking to people before dinner. When Mivy and I sat in our designated seats at dinner we Sat with Daniel and Derek and 2 couples we didn't know. The man sitting next to me was very nice and friendly and Mivy and I ended up talking to him during dinner. It turns out he used to be a Spanish Teacher for a High School. Robbie was the best man so he gave the toast. One of the most funny parts of the evening! It was truly hilarious. We then hung out at the reception until it was just Mivy, Her grandparents, Mr. Gil, Connie, Derek, Daniel, and I there. We talked forever. Connie was totally drunk and was so funny. She kept laughing at the smallest things. around 11:30 p.m. Mivy and I said goodnight to everyone and headed for our room we then got changed into pajamas and went out to the main room to study for a Lit. test we had the next week. While studying, Derek and Daniel came out to talk to us. Derek was already drunk and was drinking a beer with 2 others in his other hand! He was so funny to talk to. They both started to tell us stories from when they were in high school and the teachers they had. One was about this teacher that would randomly jump up on the desks and start singing. After a while they went back to their room, but then Derek came out alone again and started to talk to us and he was so funny because half the time he didn't make any sense. Then he left, but instead of going to his room he went outside a side exit at 1:00 a.m. while it was snowing (with no coat) and walked by the window and waved! lol! After that Mivy and I decided to go back to our room since we were done looking over our notes. When we got back we sat on the bed and quizzed each other from this 'No Fear Shakespeare' spark notes book Mivy had found under her bed. then we finally went to sleep. The next morning I woke up at 7:00 a.m. thanks to mivy hitting me in her sleep. She woke up around *:00 and we got dressed and walked out side to the dinning hall. We though that everyone would already be there but we were the first ones to get there. We got our breakfast and sat down at a table and had coffee and ate. We were there a whole hour before Mr. Gil, Connie, Daniel, and Derek came in to eat. We all talked and laughed while we ate and Robbie and his wife came in soon after them. We stayed in there even after everyone was done eating. Robbie and Mivy's grandmother got into this hugh argument over politics and Mivy, Robbie's wife, Mivy's grandfather, and I all got into it as well. Later we went back to our rooms and packed our stuff and went back to Mivy's house. Where we hung out until it was time for me to go. I miss Robbie, his wife, and Mivy's grandparents so much. Mivy's grandparents invited me to come along with Mivy to Puerto Rico this summer! I can't wait.
March 3 was my little sister Hannah's birthday. She is now 14! She will start high school next year.
March 17 Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone! I love being Irish!
Yesterday I went to the opening night for the school play because most of my friends are in it. The Spring Play this year is Grease! It was fantastic! 4 of my friends got major parts! and all four of them had their own song in the play! I am going again tomorrow it was so good. Also to keep my friends Becky and Ryan company since they are ushering that night.
On a different note ... House MD is one of the BEST shows EVER!!! I love Hugh Laurie! House and Wilson are my favorite characters!
I also love the idea of them becoming a couple!!!!!
