I finally received my last 3 GPS collars from New Zealand on Thursday. So Friday I crawled around in the brush and got all scratched the hell setting 16 traps. Saturday I was shocked not to have caught anything. Set 4 more Saturday then headed off to help photograph Navy Ball. Today the animals showed they were out and about...caught one red-shouldered hawk, one raccoon and one woodrat.
Tomorrow I have to teach class so I'll be rushing to check traps after that is over. Then I have another 16 traps to set! I need to flood the entire area for the next couple weeks and get those last 3 collars out before heading to a conference out of the state and then coming back to take my prelim exams.
There just aren't enough hours in the day!!!
