Hunger Games icons for a-mused: the maiden

Finally done with the Hunger Games icons for a-mused. I tried to do some different things, but I'm not sure I succeded. I picked challenge number three, classic/vintage palette. This is for elsmoka and legoline.

By the way I'm about 20 minutes into "Kings", which kind of reminds me of Panem. I have no idea what this show was advertised with but so far my guess is that Silas is a modern King Saul, and David is...well, David. Fighting against Goliiath, being a great musician, gaining Silas's trust...

btw..how will I make 25 Merlin icons in a week. The mind is boggling. Also most caps are so not my thing.

And why do you think is name id Daved ;) You know what.... A Kings/Hunger Ggames crossover would be totally amazing and believable.

Well, yeah, but many people are called David :-) I picked up on the "Benjamin" reference pretty early on but I thought the name "David" might have been something to set the tone to establish the importance of faith in that society, I didn't realise David was actually "David" until a bit later on. And given that I had NO idea what the show would be about I think I'm doing pretty well :-) (What with David being good with words and becoming Silas's "follower")

Right? It would totally make sense.

(Also? LOL at Sebastian Stand getting type-casted as the gay son of the president/king)

I think you are right. I don't actually remember how it was for me. And totally, but telling you too much would have been to much of spoiler. He is so good in this though.

I think it's interesting but I'm still a bit cautious :D I just saw the scene where DAvid marches up to the tanks and begs them to show their face, though, and holy crap, that was intense.
