Yeah? How so? I''m just curious about stuff like that..i love how different people can work... or how not different.

Fascinating because I find it really interesting to see how people work. It turns out we have similar techniques for most effects, but for example I don't use the curve adjustment layer as you do. I tend to use it beforehand, and by that I mean, on the bottom layer directly. I've used the curve adjustment layer before but not like that. I will experiment.

I've been requested a tut about my coloring and I think just putting up the psd file up for grabs like you did is a good idea. Might steal it.

First of all...guh new icon :) Lovley!!!

And I agree...it is interesting..how different people work. For instance, i`ve stopped using tuts on photoshop a long time ago simply cos if I achive something on my own it sticks better...but it always remains different. I think my last photoshop epiphany was masks.

What do you mean by beforehand...just on the imagelayer?

and basically..I use all adjustment layers that have to do with coloring... I also use the selective coloring layer plenty...just..what works best.

And a tut on your coloring...would be awesome..but a psd file would be even cooler.... cos you don't get so tempted to copy.. at least I think so... *g*

and it ain't stealing... I'm pretty sure I'm not the first person to do this. *g*

Yep. That's what I mean. I use adjustment layers but more for contrast and color balance more than for curves.

Thanks :) Made a whole new set of sga. I never get bored. JF is the most filthy of the filthiest men. I also made one in which they kiss. THEY KISS!! Still not as porny as one could hope, but getting there.

Actually... in a way I do that too..just not n the image but on an extra layer... cos i like the option to switch it off and on and blend it.

And JF totally is filthy..and sexy... and kinda geeky and boyish and guuh. and damn...you have to post that kiss icon..you made me so curious now!!!! *g*

Love the one you are using here as well....

Same here. That's why I always duplicate it first, in case I mess up. Needless to say it's pretty useful. ;)

Oh boy. I should have said nothing, because now I'm nervous and you're going to be disappointed... ok, right here

PS: I won't post that one for the tut, but in case you're interested... Here curves were used on the bottom layer. Along with color balance..

Exactly...layers are from heaven.

and I'm not disappointed at all... I'm awed.... this ias damn sexy. and understated. which I like... it just suggest and gets much more meaningful like that.....

and I downloaded...will check in a min. you want me to screen this?

Nope. You don't have to screen it. I don't care if other people download it. :)

As you'll see this one is pretty simple. Just a few layers. Half of the work cannot be seen in the layers anyway, since it was done on the background layer directly.

I just insulted my photoshop for not liking your photoshop. I am the most appalled. It swears it's just a lover's quarrel though.

You can kidnap it right now, you know... it loves you already for it - it just told me: I can't wait to see the pretty sights of Germany, instead of being stuck here with you". Can you believe the ungrateful twit? It eats a leaf of salad once a week btw).

Well, I could part with one leaf... I'm sure my bros guinneapigs don't need to be quite that fat!

Actually.. I don't want to make you sad... that would be bad cos then your photoshop would be pissed I kidnapped the icon and never make good icons again and it would be all my fault.

Just think all the hords at blimey_icons. they would so kill me. How about loaning.
