One of Those Days...
The weather was horrible today. It started out as sprinkling and then it became overwhelmingly muggy. So I just felt physically uncomfortable, especially since my period decided to start today. Then, during my 45 minute lunch break, I went to the bank several blocks away. The bank itself was rather scary since all the tellers were behind thick plexi-glass (which I'm pretty sure is bullet-proof glass) and only had a small slot to slid checks and money through. I think the worse part of my bank visit was that my teller couldn't count. She kept skipping a number as she was counting by tens to reach one hundred. I had to finally count with her to get it right.
Right now, I'm feeling kind of guilty declining a two day sub job starting tomorrow. However, it was a school I didn't know and the location was kind of complicated when I looked at the map. I think I don't need the stress right now. If another job comes up for a school that's located in a more straight forward location then I'll take it. If not, then I think some R&R is in order.
Starting tomorrow, I'll be more stingy about my money spending to make up for the declined jobs.
Edit: I just accepted another job for tomorrow. It's in a more familiar location. So now I'm feeling less guilty.
