FACT: Ireland is my favorite place on Earth.

We all know that I travel every weekend, at least 3 days a week in fact, and everytime I come home, my away message is something along the lines of "______ is AMAZING!" But nothing compares, nothing compares....to Ireland. Kady told me that I had to go there, and it was her favorite place, and I figured I would like it a lot, but not like this.

I went with Caitlin, Traci, Eva and Leah. ie. some of my very bestest friends here and people I love travelling with. Anyways, it was my first RyanAir flight, which went well. We flew into Shannon, and since it was really late at night, we took a cab to Doolin. We got to our little family-run Bed & Breakfast and it was lovely!! When we woke up in the morning the daughter of the owners cooked us this huge delicious breakfast and she and the rest of her family are wonderful people and were so nice and helpful. When we asked her how to get to the Cliffs of Moher, she said her brother could drive us there! So Martin took us in the back of his jeep, which was hilarious because: he was extrememly hot and Irish, he does construction, so the jeep had no backseats and there were nails and saws all over the place, and because he basically took us on a tour through the little town and the countryside.

We got to the Cliffs, and they were soooo much more than I expected. They span all the way along the ocean's edge and are about 300 meters high. We went to the top where there are just incredible views 360 degrees all around. Everything is so green there, with rolling hills behind the Cliffs. It was very windy at the top, and the waves crashed around the rocks, where there are caves hidden in the sides of the Cliffs. We could see a little bit of the Aran Islands even though it wasn't a very clear day. OK HANG ON I NEED TO RESTART....brb.
